The summer holidays are here and for plenty of families that means planning a trip to a theme park.
Letting the kids loose on rollercoasters and rides is a fun way to get outdoors together now the weather is warmer - but tickets can be pricey during the school break.
Families can save some cash in a flash sale being launched by Drayton Manor tomorrow, when tickets will be half price.
The Staffordshire theme park, which is just under a two-hour drive from Manchester, will launch the sale at 10am on Thursday July 25.
Tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis priced at £19.50 for adults and children aged 12 and over, down from £39; £14.50 for children aged four to 11, down from £29; and £15 for seniors, down from £30.
Visitors can book a discounted trip to the park any time between Saturday July 27 and Sunday August 11 through the sale.
If you miss out, and are a Tesco Clubcard holder, you could also save money on a trip to the theme park by converting your points into Boost tokens . Members can currently get three times their face value to use on Drayton Manor tickets - potentially saving you up to two thirds off the entry price.
The attraction has a main park with rollercoasters for thrill-seekers and the tot-friendly Thomas the Tank Engine-themed Thomas Land.
There's also a 15-acre conservation zoo, home to more than 100 animals including meerkats and a red panda.
