Half of us think its illegal to drive after using CBD

Half of Brits believe driving after taking common health oil CBD is illegal. With 1 in 5 people still wrongly believing it to be a narcotic and reluctant to try it, and an additional 23% falsely thinking it creates a high. When in fact, THC, the psychoactive component of Marijuana, is not present in CBD, making it perfectly safe for daily use.

According to research conducted by Hempura , Brits are still unaware of what it is, what it can be used for, and most importantly, the benefits it can have on a wide range of conditions.

CBD is continuing to grow in popularity and can now be found in a range of daily products such as chocolate, face cream and tea. Almost half of Brits have CBD as part of their daily beauty routine, in makeup, moisturisers and serums.

According to the research, a large number of respondents were wary of trying CBD because they didn’t feel it was for their age. However, 38% of those currently using CBD said it has been extremely effective in relieving pain caused by arthritis and a further 49% with chronic pain.
