Half of the homes at this Mansfield new homes site are now sold just over a year after its launch

Half of the homes at a new homes development in Mansfield have now been sold.

The site at Berry Hill was launched in August 2018 and will eventually provide some 118 homes.

Builder David Wilson Homes says that it is the development's blend of town and countryside living that is appealing to Nottinghamshire homebuyers.

Rachael Harrison, sales director, said: "We’re encouraging potential home buyers in the area to act quickly at Berry Hill as homes are selling fast.

"The homes here offer generous outdoor space, as well as excellent transport links, making Berry Hill the perfect place to call home."

A selection of three- to five-bedroom homes remain for sale at the development.

The developer says that prices start from £284,995.

There are also a variety of home buying schemes on offer at the site including the Government-backed Help to Buy scheme, where buyers are able to purchase a home with a 5 percent deposit and a 75 percent mortgage. The remaining 20 percent is funded by an equity loan, interest-free for the first five years and repayable on the sale on the home.

With sales progressing well, the final plots on the development are scheduled for build December 2021, however, build is weather dependent so dates are subject to change.

The marketing suite for the development is open Monday 12.30pm to 5.30pm and Thursday to Sunday 10am to 5.30pm.
