A 'half naked' man brought chaos to the streets of a Scots city last night sparking a massive police presence.
Several cop vans were seen around Aberdeen's Bedford road and St Machar Drive junction with traffic being diverted from the area.
Online locals reported seeing the man, clad in only a t-shirt and shorts in the cold Granite City, trying to get into cars before taking his shirt off and walking around traffic.
Others said the man was 'screaming and shouting' on social media.
One woman wrote: "I was there, half naked man running in middle of road screaming and shouting - was quite scary."
A man told how the man tried to get into his wife's car.
He wrote: "My wife just came past there about half an hour ago.
"She was waiting in traffic when someone tried her rear passenger door.
"Thankfully it was locked. He then proceeded to get into the back of the car in front of my wife.
"A couple minutes later, he got out again and started walking in front of the car, slowly.
"He was wearing shorts and a t-shirt. He took off his t-shirt.
"The traffic then started moving again. Scary stuff."
Another man added simply: "Guy running about naked."
Police Scotland said the incident happened between 4pm and 5pm and a man was taken away for medical assessment.
