Tinder gets a bad rap from time to time thanks to some truly awful stories arising on first dates.
There were some real gems in Ireland last year.
Just for example: 'Went to the cinema and the lad insisted to pay and goes, 'it's OK I robbed someone's card, it's on me!"
But one man, who says he is "half-Irish" has surely done enough to earn a first date after a smooth-as-silk chat up line.
Taking to Reddit, the unnamed chap told the world of how his hopeful partner's bio had said ''i LOVE irish boys''.

In his own words, the young man "saw a chance and ran with it".
There was one catch.
"I'm only half Irish - quick, pick a half!" got the conversation underway.
She replied with "what's your other half".
And that was all the casanova needed before coming back with a genius response.
"My other half? Well, up until yesterday I wasn't sure I had met her but after seeing your favourite artists, it's making me wonder."
We doff our proverbial caps to this as of yet unknown sweet talker.
His match was impressed too!
"That was SO SMOOTH.
"Ugh, you are such a charmer."
We are praying that we get an update in the near future on the thread.
This could be the greatest love story of 2021 - with a (hopefully) socially-distanced first date on the cards.
