Hakim Ziyech PSG loan move is OFF to leave Chelsea forward in limbo

Chelsea forward Hakim Ziyech’s proposed loan move to Paris Saint-Germain has been called off.

LFP, the French football governing body, have not approved the deal, with Chelsea accused of sending the same wrong document three times last night to leave PSG furious.

The transfer has now collapsed.

A meeting this morning at the LFP decided that the required documents needed to sanction the loan deal arrived too late.

The hold-up, it is claimed, it down to Chelsea repeatedly sending incorrect documents to the Ligue 1 giants.

Ziyech had already passed a medical earlier in the day and was left waiting for an official sign-off, which will now never come.

The Morocco international now faces spending the remainder of the season back at Stamford Bridge further down the pecking order following the club's record-breaking transfer spend.

A temporary move to Turkey is an option with their transfer window open until February 8.

More follows.
