Hakim Ziyech says he cannot wait to get started at Chelsea ahead of his summer move.
The Moroccan international is set to join the Blues from Ajax on July 1, after the two sides recently agreed a £33.4million deal.
Ziyech is still at Ajax currently and is set to play for the Dutch side until the end of the season, before his transfer to Chelsea becomes official.
But the 26-year-old has spoken of his excitement at linking up with his new team-mates in west London, with Ziyech explaining a key reason behind his decision to join Chelsea.
"[I am] Happy, proud, I am excited and I cannot wait," he said in an interview with Ajax TV, as quoted by Chelsea's website.
"It [Chelsea] is a big club in a big competition. I like the style of play, they play really attacking football, and that is something that fits me and that is one of the biggest reasons I chose therefore."
Ziyech also said that Blues head coach Frank Lampard was a factor behind the move as well, after admitting that he had spoken with the Chelsea boss ahead of the move.
"[He played] A big role," he said.
"We had a lot of contact in the last couple of weeks and he gave me a good feeling and that was also big to do with the decision.’
