Hakim Ziyech is back in full training ahead of Chelsea's clash against Manchester City.
The attacking midfielder has missed the last seven games across all competitions with a hamstring injury sustained in the Blues' 3-1 win over Leeds United at the beginning of last month.
In his absence Chelsea have suffered a dip in form, recording just one win and losing three without their chief playmaker.
Interestingly, Ziyech did return to training ahead of the 3-0 win over West Ham United a couple of weeks ago, but wasn't risked and subsequently sat out games against Arsenal and Aston Villa.
But his return is imminent.
And as revealed by Blues head coach Frank Lampard, Ziyech has trained ahead of the big game against City on Sunday and a late decision will be made as to if he can start at Stamford Bridge.
"He’s fit to train," Lampard said in his pre-match press conference. "He’s trained for the last two or three days.
"I will make the decision as to whether he is ready to start."
Ahead of the game in west London, Ziyech was put through his places at the club's Cobham training base on Friday as he looked to prove his fitness to Lampard.
The good news for Lampard, as seen in the image above, Ziyech seemed to have come through the session unscathed and was even practicing his shooting in preparation for City.
Also taking part in the session were two of the club's brightest prospects in Lewis Bate and Henry Lawrence as they trained with the likes of Tammy Abraham, Christian Pulisic, and Thiago Silva.
Although, the sight of Ziyech in training is certainly a boost for the Blues.
But whether the £33.4m signing from Ajax returns to the starting XI for the game against Pep Guardiola's side remains to be seen.
