Hairdresser shares 'worst bleach damage' she's ever seen and refuses to colour the hair

Hairdressers will often have to contend with all sorts of hair disasters in their day-to-day lives, from straightener frazzled locks to DIY lockdown fringes from hell.

However, one alarmed hairdresser has recently had to draw the line after a client turned up to her salon with the "worst chemical cut" she's seen "in a very, very long time".

In a video shared to TikTok, the hairdresser - who goes by the username @thequeenofblondessalon - explained that this was the very first time the client had visited her salon and that she was left "shocked" by the condition of her bleached blonder hair.

The California-based stylist - who refers to herself as "Miami's Blonde Beast" - could be seen lifting up parts of her customer's hair in the clip, showing her followers the extent of the damage.

She said: "To be honest with you, I was shocked. I was completely shocked. This guest has been bleaching her roots for a very long time. Unfortunately, she had a situation where she had to switch from her main stylist - who had moved out of the state - and she visited someone else".

Clarifying that she wasn't "knocking anybody off", the hairdresser added: "No shade to the stylist that did this but it is a very unfortunate situation".

The guest had gone into her salon that day to try and get her roots done, but @thequeenofblondessalon sadly felt that she had no choice but to turn her down.

All talk of hair damage aside, many followers weren't happy about the client being "made an example out of" online when she'd simply come to the hairdresser for help.

One person wrote: "This seems exploitive to use her as an example of what not to do, but then turn her down instead of offering a plan to save what you could".

Another agreed, remarking "I'd be upset if I let someone record me feeling vulnerable just to turn me down. Something could've happened".

However, others argued that the hairdresser had every right to turn her away, with one fellow stylist sympathising: "people pressure hairdressers all the time to perform miracles".
