Haines Watts Scotland has announced the promotion of Craig Hunter to audit partner.
His appointment coincides with the creation of the firm's Haines Watts Scotland Audit practice, based in Edinburgh, and follows his contribution to growing its audit and assurance services.
Hunter was previously audit director in charge of its Kirkcaldy office, having joined from BDO in April 2017. He has more than 20 years’ experience in industry and public practice.

Haines Watts Scotland is part of Haines Watts, a top 15 firm with more than 60 offices around the UK. It has offices in Tillicoultry, where it acquired Atkinson & Co in October 2018, and in Kirkcaldy, where the following April it took over Harley Hepburn.
