Hail Mary saves Mount Union’s perfect season against Baldwin Wallace

Mount Union’s undefeated season was alive by a sliver.

A Hail Mary was in order and delivered for the 9-0 Purple Raiders, who fell behind when Baldwin Wallace scored a TD with 22 seconds left.

The pass was thrown by quarterback Braxton Plunk.

The football hits off the helmet of a Baldwin Wallace player and the deflection is caught by Wayne Ruby Jr. for the game-winning touchdown:

The Purple Raiders had a 23-21 victory and a 10-0 regular season.
