Hagen Mills' ex-girlfriend's mother 'prepared to die' in attempted murder-suicide

Hagen Mills' ex-girlfriend Erica Price's mother has revealed that she was "prepared to die" during the attempted murder-suicide.

Actor Mills, whose credits include Baskets and Swedish Dicks, died after he allegedly shot Price before turning the gun on himself.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Price's mother Tammy Green-Price told of the moment that the shots rang out and how she was prepared to do anything to protect the couple's four-year-old daughter.

Erica reportedly suffered gunshot wounds to her arm and chest but was able to identify Hagen as the one who had fired the gun.

Tammy recalled the moment that the horrifying incident happened and said that Hagen had forcefully entered her house and had tied her arms with duct tape.

He then waited for Erica to return home, when he allegedly shot her at point blank range.

Speaking about that moment, Tammy said: "I thought I was next. But the baby was behind me and my only real thought was to shield her.

"I somehow managed to nudge her down on the couch then closed my eyes and prepared to die."

Tammy added: "I heard the gun go off, I heard his body hitting the floor and I finally opened my eyes and realised I was alive."

She said that her daughter was able to drag herself to another room, where sher called 911 for the authorities to come to the house.

Tammy described her daughter as a "beautiful person" who has a "very giving, kind soul."
