Are there any NL Senas for the current political situation or a way to donate directly (I’m already in the middle of an active subscription)? I’d like to contribute to NL-TNM’s coverage of the India-Pakistan conflict.

Hi everyone,
This is my first time writing a letter – great job on the show, keep it up!
I want to respond to Jayashree’s point about why people seem to be cheering for war, and why there’s no anti-war voice in India. I think that misses the broader sentiment. The government and defence forces have clearly stated that these are not acts of war, but targeted strikes against terror camps. If the other side chooses to escalate, we will respond – simple as that.
There was a terror attack, and we hit back at those responsible. It’s about accountability. We're not celebrating war – we’re supporting justice. Actions have consequences, and this message needed to be sent. They started it, not us.

Hello NL,
The idea that “we support war when female soldiers are centred” reflects a troubling narrative – where equality is reduced to access to violence. Framing female soldiers as symbols of progress risks betraying feminism’s deeper goals.
We should scorn at the pink-washing of war – not be inspired by it. Representation isn’t liberation if it simply replicates the same brutal systems. True progress challenges the need for war itself, not just who gets to fight it. Representation in warfare doesn’t redeem militarism.
I hope NL can reflect more critically on this framing. Here’s an inspiring dialogue between leftists from both sides of the border that offers a path toward avoiding war altogether – not just feeling progressive when women participate in it: https://www.youtube.com/live/sR6TGjp3Tu0

Hello all,
तमाम बड़े छोटे राष्ट्रीय मुद्दों के बीच, सबसे अहम सवाल है कि आनंद sir किसको याद करते रहते है ?
Love his views on the podcasts and his opinion articles as well.

I have a request: Please play this anti-war poem by Sahir Ludhianvi at the end of the next Hafta if possible.
