Habitual mascot hater Robin Lopez really did a jersey swap with the Spurs mascot

NBA veteran big man Robin Lopez has a long and complicated relationship with mascots around the league. But he changed his tune against the Spurs.

After a victory against San Antonio and some jaw-dropping moments from Victor Wembanyama, the Milwaukee center had some business he needed to attend to on the court. Lopez met up with The Coyote, who is the longtime mascot for the Spurs.

Very few fans likely expected a peaceful exchange, especially considering that Lopez once blinded The Coyote in a violent attack. Instead, however, Lopez and The Coyote had a jersey swap that was hilariously captured on video.

What a classy exchange between the two individuals, who put their differences aside to share a nice moment for the fans.

Lopez now gets to have to have a piece of memorabilia from The Coyote, who was officially inducted into the Mascot Hall of Fame in 2007. For The Win ranked The Coyote as the second-best mascot in the NBA.

The Coyote, meanwhile, is now the proud owner of a Robin Lopez jersey.
