Payne Haas has eclipsed Brisbane great Allan Langer with a fifth-straight club best and fairest gong.

The 23-year-old prop romped to another Paul Morgan Medal on Thursday night, polling 80 votes to beat Adam Reynolds (64), Reece Walsh (51) and Pat Carrigan (35).

He joins Langer as a five-time winner, but even the champion halfback didn't win all his consecutively, earning one in 1988 and then four straight between 1993-96.

Haas averaged 187 running metres, 72 of those post-contact, from 16 hit-ups per game and 29 tackles at 99 per cent efficiency across 23 games in 2023.

Fresh off Sunday's gutting grand final loss, Haas also won the most consistent player, best forward and players' player at Thursday's awards night.

Returning after the birth of her child, inaugural Bronco Mariah Denman won the NRLW side's player of the year award, polling 25 votes to pip captain Ali Brigginshaw and frontrower Neta Nu'uausala (both 22).
