NSW star Payne Haas is free to play State of Origin II in Brisbane next Sunday after avoiding sanction in Thursday night's 46-0 NRL loss to South Sydney.

In a brief statement the Broncos said they were considering their position on the charge which could be determined by the player's future, with Wests Tigers understood to be firmly in the mix to sign the forward.
