'Haaland is coming!' - Chelsea fans excited for £150m transfer with deal to be completed

Chelsea fans have been reacting to reports that the club are poised to announce the sale of Marc Guehi.

As first reported by The Athletic, the central defender - who spent last season on loan in the Championship with Swansea City - is nearing a move to London rivals Crystal Palace.

And football.london understands Chelsea have accepted a significant offer from the Eagles for the England Under-21 international, whose move is expected to be completed in the next 48 hours.

Guehi is expected to undergo a medical ahead of signing a five-year deal with Palace at Selhurst Park where he will be managed by Arsenal legend Patrick Vieira.

As expected, this deal has sparked a massive reaction from Chelsea fans on social media.

On one side, some are demanding that the club insert a buy-back clause into the deal which is a sign that many believe in Guehi's ability and that he can still lead the backline in the future.

Although, others are excited at what selling the defender could mean.

With Erling Haaland still being linked with a move to Stamford Bridge, the club need to raise funds in order to meet Borussia Dortmund's reported £150m asking price.

So, there's a theory that selling Guehi will help fund a deal for Haaland this summer.

Take a look at what's been said on Twitter...

@Tuchelinio said: "Guehi for £15-20 million is quite disappointing but decent, I mean the money will be used to fund Haaland and other players."

@HavertzNiceDay said: "£50m for Tomori and Guehi, £40m for Abraham, Giroud leaving, £20m-£30m for Emerson, potentially CHO/Ziyech leaving too. That's over 100m easily. Chelsea can easily raise funds for Haaland and I'm sure we will."

@Ahlzzzzz said: "Selling Guehi clearly means we’re going for Haaland."
