Ha Ha Clinton-Dix turned down more money to play with Bears, Eddie Jackson

The Chicago Bears are officially a destination of choice for free agents.

Ryan Pace landed one of the top free agent safeties left on the market, and he took less money to come to Chicago.

The Bears signed Ha Ha Clinton-Dix to a one-year, $3.5 million deal.

Washington tried to re-sign the safety they traded a fourth-round pick for during the season, but he chose to play with the Bears and his former college teammate.

He replaces Adrian Amos, who signed a four-year deal with the Green Bay Packers.

Clinton-Dix is set up to be an absolute steal for the Bears and one of the smartest moves of the offseason by Pace.

He has a knack for getting his hands on the ball, and he should benefit from all the talent around him in Chicago.

This should be the best defense Clinton-Dix has played on in the NFL, and he’s in a great position to earn a payday with a strong 2019 season.
