Retailer H&M has announced a VIP discount event at its store in Nottingham.
Shopping hours will be extended for an hour next week so friends and family of staff can shop using staff discount.
A spokeswoman for H&M said: "H&M Lister Gate in Nottingham is extending their shopping hours for one hour on Tuesday, December 15, between 6-7pm whereby they will be offering friends and family of staff the opportunity to shop using staff discount.
"This is an allotted timeslot to allow us to host these customers in a more controlled way with all usual Covid measures in place and no drinks or additional items are being served that evening.
"As always Health & Safety is our biggest priority at this time, and we will be ensuring we adhere to all the local guidance currently in force for Nottingham."
A Nottinghamshire Live reader had raised concerns about a social media post which suggested drinks and treats would be on offer.
The reader questioned if this was right under the Tier 3 restrictions.
However, H&M confirmed the post was not official company promotional material and the information shared was incorrect.
