Chock-full of some of the season's big trends – from smocking to puff sleeves and oversized floral prints – it’s a wallet-friendly winner of a summer dress drop, catering to all manner of solstice scenarios; from the perfect Lyocell blend lilac maxi to pair with trainers for a walk, to the ultimate puff sleeved, drop hem organic cotton fuchsia midi for a sun-soaked garden soiree.
The “majority of pieces” in the collection have, according to H&M, been made entirely from recycled or sustainably sourced material, such as organic cotton, Tencel or recycled polyester, while pieces using a blend of materials are made from at least 50 per cent sustainably sourced fabric.
H&M claims already to have 50 per cent of the materials they use across the business come from sustainable sources and, as of 2020, 100 per cent of its cotton was recycled and sustainably sourced. By 2030, the Swedish retailer is aiming to exclusively use recycled and sustainably sourced materials.
