H&M has been at the forefront of sustainable fashion on the high street for years.
Having seen several successful years of its Conscious Collection, which started in 2012, the Swedish brand has taken things one step further with its new 2019 Conscious Exclusive range.
Exuding both sustainability and style, the collection features a range of bold plant and tree print dresses, slick white evening ensembles and easy to throw on co-ords. Keeping with the wellness theme, the palette throughout is in homage to healing crystals in shades ranging from lavender and aqua blue to 2019's colour of the year coral.
Footwear features some of the hottest shoe styles for summer 2019, including flame-adorned cowboy boots and square-toe strappy sandals.
What you wouldn't guess at first glance is what the trendy pieces are made from.
Previous collections have used everything from discarded candlesticks to fishing nets, and this year's range uses equally innovative materials.
Piñatex®, a leather alternative made from pineapple leaves; BLOOM™ Foam, made from freshwater algae biomass; and Orange Fiber, made from the citrus fruits peel, all play a key role in the collection.
Conscious Exclusive also features swimwear, accessories and jewellery made out of plastic recycled from bottles, plastic bags and shampoo bottles.
