A travelling horse fair is set to return to Nottinghamshire this month.
The gypsy horse fair, which was previously held three times a year in Kenilworth since 2001, moved to the new location next to Junction 26 of the M1, in Nuthall.
The last event took place on April 27 and 28, with stall holders and caravans arriving earlier in the week.
The new event was discussed at a meeting of Nottinghamshire County Council on Thursday, July 11, after it was raised by Councillor Philip Owen, who represents Nuthall and Kimberley for the Conservatives, as a 'constituency issue'.
It is thought travellers will start arriving for the next event on Thursday, July 25, and stay until Sunday, July 28.
The last event passed off largely without incident.
Despite the wet weather, organisers said they were happy with the "tremendous turnout" and announced at the time they would be holding two more this year - one in July and the other in October.
After the last fair, organisers said they left the site ‘spotless’, with litter pickers combing the area.
