Gymnastics classes return to popular Lanarkshire venue after almost two years

Gymnastics classes are set to return to the Time Capsule after an absence of almost two years.

The Coatbridge venue will welcome back eager gymnasts in January, with classes starting with babies aged 10 months to Primary Five pupils and above.

Sports development officer at NL Leisure, Megan Brechin, is excited to be able to offer the classes once again.

She told Lanarkshire Live : "These will be the first gymnastics classes in the Time Capsule since March 2020.

"We haven't been able to get into our usual hall as the NHS was using it for vaccines but now we are happy we can offer the classes again as we know they are popular.

"The classes will start to run from January 11 and will be every Tuesday and Wednesday."

All booking information is now available on the NL Leisure website.

There is a cost of £23.95 per month and the programme is delivered over 50 weeks.

However, there is also an Ultimate Sports Membership available for kids who are interested in more than one activity.

This allows access to various sports classes, unlimited swims in NL pools, BMX sessions and much more.

The cost of an Ultimate Sports Membership is £35.90 a month.
