Gym where Love Island's Molly Mae trains hits back after The S*n pinches Instagram pics

A Liverpool gym owner who trained Love Island's Molly Mae says he was forced to defend himself after his business was featured in The S*n.

Absolute Body Solutions (ABS) posted a statement on its Instagram after pictures and video of workouts with the Love Island beauty were used on the S*n Online.

The statement reads: "We have been made aware that some of our content has been featured in The Sun online today.

"We can confirm that we were approached by a journalist yesterday and we were asked to provide content for their article.

"Absolute Body Solutions is a company with its roots firmly in Liverpool and as such we are supporters of Don't Buy The S*n.

"We responded to the newspaper requesting that none of our content or references to ABS or Absolute Body Solutions be included in their article and that we would not provide any comment or content.

"ABS never has and never will provide content for the The Sun newspaper or any of its affiliated publications. #dontbuythesun

Owner of ABS Connor O'Brien has three gyms in Speke, Liverpool city centre and Manchester city centre.

He told the ECHO: "The S*n sent an email yesterday and contacted us to ask if we could provide videos and images, what Molly-Mae does at the gym and all the information.

"We said, in a professional way, back to them - no, but they just used it anyway.

"We don't want clients looking at their story and thinking that we have done a story with The S*n.

"That is not what we want at all.

"We sent a really clear email to them saying that we don't want any of our content used by them and they actually emailed back to say they understood, then used it anyway."

Connor said Love Island's Molly-Mae attended the ABS gym in Manchester city centre, to get in peak shape before jetting off to the island.

And while he said he wants to promote what his gym does and the results his clients achieve he would never turn to The S*n for advertisment.

He added: "The S*n is not promotion that we want for our business.

"And now that we have been featured in it, it is something that we now will have to deal with with our clients and any backlash we might receive.

"Our company has firm roots in Liverpool."

Manchester's Molly-Mae set pulses racing in the villa when she walked in as a late entry.

She has also had tongues wagging this week as things between she and Tommy heated up under the sheets on Thursday night's episode.

The S*n was approached for comment but had not responded at time of publication.

*Love Island continues at 9pm on ITV2 tonight*
