Gym, supermarkets and takeaway food outlets among new exposure sites

A gym, several supermarkets and takeaway food outlets are among 27 new close and casual contact exposure sites identified in the ACT.

There are now more than 200 identified close and casual contact exposure sites.

A further eight close contact sites have been notified in Barton, Campbell, Fyshwick, Phillip and Dickson.

Anyone who has attended close contact venues at the times specified must quarantine, get tested for COVID-19 and remain in quarantine until told otherwise by ACT Health.

The Iskia Athletic Club in Campbell is a close contact exposure site from 12.15pm to 2pm on August 12.

The Rehabilitiation Specialists in Fyshwick has been visited by a case on August 11 between 8.30am and 9.30am and again between 2.30pm and 5pm.

In Barton, the Engineering House is also a close contact site between 6.15am and 3.30pm on August 9 and 7am and 4pm on August 10.

The pool area of Grand Central Towers, an apartment building in Woden, has been notified from 11.45am to 12.45pm on August 12.

The Bucket Warehouse, a basketball academy in Mitchell, is a close contact site on August 11 from 5.25pm to 7.15pm.

The final close contact site is Subway Dickson from 7pm to 7.50pm on August 11.

Several supermarkets and takeaway food outlets make up the additional 19 casual contact sites.

Coles Gungahlin on August 12 and Woolworths in Gungahlin and Bonner on August 12 and 13 respectively, are included in the list.

The Spence Grocer on August 12, 14 and 15 is a casual contact site for specified times.

If you are a casual contact that attended a venue less than four days ago you must get tested for COVID-19 as soon as possible and then get a second test five days after you were at the casual contact location.

If you attended the venue more than four days ago, only one test is required.

You must remain in quarantine until a negative result is received.
