Woman slammed for wearing full make-up to gym has epic response for trolls

A self-described 'gym rat' has declared she doesn't let other people's negativity get in the way of her dressing however she likes and argues her glam look motivates her ahead of a 'bomb workout'. Rosa Esparza regularly shares gym content via TikTok, where she keeps followers updated with her impressive fitness journey, and her unique fashion choices certainly stand out.

Rather than simply chucking on any old leggings and a t-shirt, as many of us making a creaky return to the gym this January will be doing, Rosa opts for more fun looks, getting her leg days in while wearing leopard print onesies, colourful rompers, and stylish velvet crop tops.

As reported by the Daily Star, Rosa has received some critical comments for getting all dressed up with full makeup for the gym, but wouldn't have it any other way.

In a TikTok video that's been viewed 286.6K times and counting, Rosa, who goes by the username @rosafit, could be seen lifting weights while clad in an emerald-coloured velour tracksuit, hitting back at those who've slammed her alternative sportswear looks.

In response to one critic who'd incredulously commented 'full face and in dem fit??? [sic]' on one of her previous vids, Rosa proudly proclaimed, 'I do how I was it', showing she isn't fazed one single iota by the opinions of others.

In the caption of her video, which has since clocked up more than 15K likes, Rosa wrote: "Girl I do this often. Cute gym fits, full glam, train till failure = bomb a** workouts."

She finished off her caption with the hashtag #dowhatmakesyouhappy, and has since been widely applauded by her followers for bringing her own confident sense of style to her workouts while refusing to be made to feel self-conscious.

One person approved: "Absolutely wear whatever you feel good in!"

Another agreed: "Look good, do good, feel good."

According to the Star, Rosa has joked that she wears full makeup to the gym as this is 'the only place' she actually goes to, admitting, 'Even if I did have plans I still cancel just to hit the gym'.

She added: "Looking and feeling good is a good a** workout! Do and wear whatever the f*** you want to the gym! Who gives a damn about what others think! Do whatever makes you happy."
