Anti lockdown gym boss revealed to be 'professional drug dealer'

A gym owner's drug smuggling plot was busted when police found texts in which he told an associate how to 'clean' his dirty money.

Nicholas Whitcombe, who was fined for refusing to close his Body Tech Fitness site in Moreton during lockdown, was described by a judge as a "professional drug dealer".

His role in the trafficking scheme was exposed through an investigation by the Jersey's customs and immigration department.

Jersey’s Royal Court heard Whitcombe worked with Anthony Andrew Dryden in a plot valued at more than £54,000.

Pile of dead birds 'shot and dumped' found by 'sickened' passerby

A large number of dead pheasants were found in a field after reportedly being shot dead.

Graphic images show a 'pile of dead birds' that were located in a field.

It was reported the birds were found by a member of the public, who confirmed they had all been shot and then dumped in the field.

This information - and the images - was shared by the Hunt Saboteurs group, which works to disrupt and sabotage hunts and protect wildlife.

Huge cannabis farm spanned five rooms of Liverpool house

Cannabis farm with 189 plants found on Sherwood's Lane in Fazakerley (Merseyside Police)

Police have shut down a large cannabis farm in Liverpool.

Officers raided a home on Sherwood's Lane, Fazakerley, and found a cannabis farm in production.

Matt Brown, head of the Cannabis Dismantling Team said: "Thanks to our officers, a large cannabis farm is no longer putting the community at risk of fire and flood, as well as violence and criminal exploitation.

“No law abiding person wants to live next-door to such death-traps and we do all we can to make the streets safer."
