Gyanesh Sharma takes charge as Chhattisgarh Yoga Commission chairman

RAIPUR: Gyanesh Sharma took charge as Chhattisgarh Yoga Commission chairman at a swearing-in ceremony organised in Raipur on Sunday.

Chief minister Bhupesh Baghel virtually attended the swearing in ceremony of the Chairman and members of Chhattisgarh Yoga Commission from his residence office here.

On this occasion, he congratulated and gave best wishes to the Chairman Gyanesh Sharma and the members including Ravi Baksh, Ravinder Singh, Ganesh Yogi and Rajesh Nara for their new responsibility.

Addressing the programme, chief minister said that yoga is related to ancient knowledge and is a tradition of our country. Yoga keeps both our body and mind healthy. He said that the field of yoga is wide. Chhattisgarh Yoga Commission should give wide publicity about its importance and more and more people should be connected to it so that yoga must be included in the daily routine of all.

Newly appointed Chairman Gyanesh Sharma while addressing the programme said to take all possible initiatives to take Yoga to the highest level in Chhattisgarh.

Agriculture minister Ravindra Choubey, industry minister Kawasi Lakhma, MP Deepak Baij along with other public representatives and senior officials joined the programme through video conferencing.
