Gwyneth Paltrow is no stranger to controversy - so why not add wild naked yoga to her list of bizarre Hollywood activities?
The actress stripped totally nude and posed on top of a hill in a bid to promote her wellness brand Goop.
The saucy snap shows Gwyneth, 46, on a hillside facing away from the camera gazing into the stark wilderness.
The Avengers star raises her arms straight above her head, stretching out her body as her blonde locks cascade down her back.
Gwyneth started Goop back in 2008 from her own kitchen, sending out a newsletter to inspire and encourage healthy eating, lifestyle and mentality.
The brand's website reads: "We believe that the little things count, that good food is the foundation of love and wellness, that the mind/body/spirit is inextricably linked, and we have more control over how we express our health than we currently understand."

Goop wrote on its post: "We lie to ourselves for good and bad reasons, self-protection or self-sabotage (which are often one and the same).
"But why? Link in bio for @DanaChildsIntuitive full explanation on why listening to your body is the best thing you can do to rid yourself of your own biases."
While some fans took negatively to the snap, others have defended Gwyneth.

One wrote: "Wow, this nude got quite a few people upset.
"Everyone, chill! It's a body. Just because it's not your size body, stop judging it! All your 'too thin' comments are a reflection of your own insecurities."
Another penned: "Dear Haters, while you speak of body image, you hate this body? Acceptance of ALL body types includes this body too."
Gwyneth stirred controversy last month after it emerged she had hired a book curator to style her shelves.
She's no stranger to quirky past times and habits, and the Goop empress drew a variety of reactions from fans when revealing her controversial health routines.
Gwyneth, who was previously married to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin , advocates the use of crystal sex toys and vaginal steaming. She was also stung by bees on purpose
