Gwyneth Paltrow has explained why she can’t remember which Marvel movies she’s starred in.
Earlier this year, the Oscar-winning actor – who played Pepper Potts in 2008 film Iron Man right through to Avengers: Endgame – forgot she was in Spider-Man: Homecoming during an appearance on Netflix show Chef’s Table.
It was also revealed by studio boss Kevin Feige that she had no idea Samuel L Jackson was a member of the Marvel Cinematic Universe despite starring in five films with him.
“It is confusing because there are so many Marvel movies, and to be honest, I haven’t seen very many of them,” Paltrow told Elle.
“It’s really stupid and I’m sorry, but I’m a 47-year-old mother,” she continued, adding she had no idea her forgetfulness has become a “joke” on the internet.

Paltrow currently stars in Netflix series The Politician.
