Gwyneth Paltrow denies rumour she is 'Becky with the good hair'

Ever since Beyoncé hinted that Jay Z had been unfaithful with the now-infamous “Becky with the good hair” lyric on her “Lemonade” album, fans of the singer have speculated who Becky could be.

The Beyhive - the name given to Beyoncé's army of fans - first assumed it was designer Rachel Roy, who had to deny it was her after she was targeted on social media.

Now Gwyneth Paltrow has also had to deny she is “Becky,” calling the claim “absurd.”

The rumour began when Amber Rose suggested Paltrow was “Becky” on an episode of Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt’s podcast “Make Speidi Famous Again.”

“I definitely think Gwyneth Paltrow is like, ‘Becky with the good hair’... I feel like she’s the one that was, like, f**king Jay Z,” Rose said. “They were like friends, and then, like, you don’t see Gwyneth Paltrow with Beyoncé anymore.”

Paltrow had a close friendship with Beyoncé and Jay Z, which the actress discussed with Ellen DeGeneres in 2010.

“They’re incredible people,” the Goop owner said of the Carters. “They’re very, very kind, generous, good, good people.”

Rose’s comment prompted a representative for Paltrow to dismiss the claim, calling it “completely absurd and 100 per cent false.”

Following backlash over her unfounded comments, Rose tweeted that she had been “joking.”

“Bruh we were joking on a podcast! Lol stop with the clickbait! I have no information about anyone’s personal life,” she said.

Becky may also not exist, as it was lyricist Diana Gordon who wrote most of the song “Sorry.”
