Gwynedd hotel with possibly 'Wales' best view' has gone on the market

A Gwynedd hotel with possibly "Wales' best view" has come on the market.

Bryn Eglwys is a country hotel tucked away on the eastern edge of Beddgelert, close to Snowdon.

It has gone up for sale with Dafydd Hardy estate agents for £925,000.

The agent's listing says: "Could Bryn Eglwys be the hotel with Wales’ best view?

"Well, we’ll leave that for you to decide, but there’s no denying its fabulous position!"

Estate agent Dafydd Hardy said: “The views really are marvellous from this hotel.

"I’m hopeful we’ll find new local owners to continue this business, which comes complete with owner accommodation.”

The hotel enjoys a slightly elevated position overlooking the wooded river valley that Beddgelert sits in, with dramatic views towards the majestic peak of Moel Hebog which dominates the surrounding landscape.

It includes 12 bedrooms and a guest dining room and lounge.
