Animal welfare experts are appealing for a new home for a friendly Boxer cross currently living at Dogs Trust West Calder.
They say eight-year-old Gus is a happy and lovable boy who loves spending time with people.
A spokeswoman for Dogs Trust said: “Gus is super affectionate and enjoys lots of cuddles and snuggles. He can live with children over the age of 10 years old and could possibly live with another friendly dog.
“Gus likes to go on adventurous walks and always looks forward to jumping in the car to go on a road trip.
“He is sweet and well mannered but can be strong on his lead at times when out walking.
“Gus is super playful and will happily play with his squeaky toy for hours on end if you let him. Gus has a minor skin condition which is easily managed and this does not get in the way of him living life to the full.
“He is fully housetrained and is comfortable being left alone at home for short periods of time.”
