Seafood on ice includes Alaskan king crab, Maine lobster, oysters and prawns, while the kitchen presents a rotating spread of tapas and warm dishes alongside freshly carved Jamón Ibérico. dusitD2 Samyan Bangkok invites seafood lovers to experience a special edition of "Seafood Vibes" at Dusit Gourmet, featuring chef Thapakorn "Tofu" Somjit, Iron Chef Thailand winner, on July 15-16. The menu features two dishes together with one of his signature creations, all served à la minute and created specially for this limited two-night experience. Expect Oxtail express and pomegranate, Lamb shank paella and Pancetta scallop.

The Waldorf Astoria Bangkok will host the Albert Bichot Wine Dinner, on July 15 at The Champagne Bar. The experience brings together Bull & Bear and Maison Albert Bichot, one of Burgundy’s most respected wine houses. Expect Hokkaido scallop tartare complemented by the freshness and vibrant fruit profile of Albert Bichot Mâcon-Villages 2022; Tuna carpaccio paired with Albert Bichot Domaine Long-Depaquit Chablis 1er Cru "Les Lys" 2023; and Morel chicken roulade with Albert Bichot Côte de Beaune-Villages 2022, or Grilled black Angus tenderloin 200-Days grain-fed paired with Albert Bichot Gevrey-Chambertin 2022.
Gala dinner / Silver Waves by Boon / July 18
Silver Waves by Boon will host a four-hands Gala Dinner by chefs Ho Chee Boon and Alvin Leung on July 18 at Chatrium Hotel Riverside Bangkok. Chef Boon will join hands with chef Leung, widely known as the “Demon Chef”, to present an eight-course gala dinner shaped by heritage, imagination and refined modern technique. Selected highlights include a modern interpretation of Buddha jumps over the wall with abalone, sea cucumber, black truffle and foie gras; Wok-fried Thai river prawn with green almond and fragrant milk curry sauce; Caramelised black char siu; and Roasted Chilean sea bass with passionfruit and Champagne sauce.

Trisara Phuket will host "An Evening With Dirk Hany" on July 3 at 7.8°N Bar featuring Dirk Hany, founder of Bar am Wasser in Zurich, one of Switzerland’s most creative craft cocktail destinations, and global brand ambassador of Swiss Mountain Spring, a premium Swiss mixer brand. The takeover will feature six signature cocktails created by Hany for 7.8°N Bar.
Bartender series / ABar Rooftop / July 3 and July 9
ABar Rooftop at Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park will host the "Guest Bartender Series", spotlighting two collaborations with some of Asia’s most acclaimed mixologists. On July 3, Mayur Marne, co-founder of Cobbler & Crew in Pune, India will take over the bar, serving his signature crafted cocktails that push boundaries while celebrating balanced flavours. On July 9, Andi, co-owner and Yogi, head bartender, of Barcadia in Jakarta, Indonesia will take over the bar serving a curated cocktail menu inspired by regional influences and global trends.

Welcoming the refreshing season after the rain, The St. Regis Bangkok invites guests to discover a curated selection of indoor experiences for the ultimate rainy season escape this month. Highlights include the Signature Sunday Brunch featuring a prawn showcase alongside beloved brunch favourites, as well as "Cocktails, Tapas, and Friends". This vibrant afternoon gathering features guest stars from Manila, Philippines. The Signature Sunday Brunch will take place every Sunday, offering Ama Ebi crudo with passion fruit dressing to a Tiger prawn and zucchini risotto. Discover the vibrant creativity shaping Southeast Asia's cocktail culture and culinary scene with an acclaimed line-up of bar professionals: David Abalayan, bar manager of No Entry; Kevin Jerrold Corrales, co-founder of Problem Child; and Brian Gonzalez, beverage manager of The St. Regis Bar Bangkok. Complementing the cocktails, chef Naphat Thienarrom of Le Du Kaan will join forces with chef Pongsakorn Boonruang and pastry chef Nina Sanda Win to present a selection of refined, Thai-inspired tapas and desserts, on July 19.
Limited programme / wasteland / July 8 to Sept 30
Running for exactly three months, from July 8 to Sept 30, wasteland will offer a limited-run programme turning the bar into an open space for the open source of research and development towards a new menu. Each week, a new menu drop will introduce hyper-experimental craft cocktails — resulting in 12 unique menus over the course of three months. All creations feature local and sustainable ingredients, including surplus, byproducts, and overlooked ones. All are rooted in nature, culture and the future.
Guest shift / Aqua Bar / July 7
Aqua Bar at Anantara Siam Bangkok will host a guest shift featuring bartenders Terry Kim and Mason Park from Alice Cheongdam Bar Korea on July 7, in collaboration with chef Pat-in "Knock" Promsawadi, chef-owner of Int. Guest bartenders Kim and Park will bring Alice Cheongdam's signature Wonderland-inspired cocktail experience to Bangkok, while chef Knock presents a menu of dishes to complement the bespoke cocktails.

Konthorn Taecholarn, also known as "Art Of Hongtae", is an artist working across both digital and traditional drawing mediums. His practice connects imagination, memory and cultural beliefs through a contemporary visual language. Influenced by both Eastern and Western cultural traditions, his work is particularly informed by an interest in Thai and Southeast Asian cosmology, which he reinterprets through narrative imagery that exists between reality, dreams and emotional states. In the exhibition “Cloudheads: A New Season", on display from July 4 at Fujifilm House of Photography, the artist expands the narrative beyond personal emotions toward an exploration of change over time and the acceptance of life's unfolding circumstances. “A New Season” does not signify liberation from the cloud above one's head; rather, it reflects a process of learning to live alongside it and recognising how its meaning shifts throughout different stages of life.
Solo exhibition / Alliance Française Chiang Mai / July 11 to Aug 16
The Alliance Française Chiang Mai will showcase "Daimon", a solo exhibition of paintings by French artist Myrtille Tibayrenc from July 11 to Aug 16. The title is derived from the ancient Greek word daimōn, referring to an invisible guiding spirit believed to shape an individual's character, destiny and deepest nature. In this new body of work, Tibayrenc explores the human figure as a site of myth, memory and transformation. Her paintings unfold within dreamlike landscapes inhabited by enigmatic presences, symbolic animals, and solitary figures suspended between contemplation and revelation.

Chiang Mai officially unveils “Chiang Mai Voyage Of Light 2026” (CMVOL 2026), a new premium cultural festival that aims to position Doi Saket as Chiang Mai’s next cultural destination for international travelers. Inspired by the story of the Tai Lue heritage, the project reimagines the traditional Yi Peng celebration through authentic Lanna culture, local craftsmanship, faith, and sustainability. From hand-spun cotton transformed into ceremonial lamps to community participation and a zero-waste circular economy, every element is designed to preserve local traditions while creating meaningful benefits for the community. Visitors will experience an immersive lantern festival on Nov 24–25, featuring a spectacular lantern release, traditional Lanna performances, Tai Lue cultural experiences, artisan workshops, local cuisine and eco-friendly activities in the beautiful mountain setting of Doi Saket. Art exhibition / Under The Same Sun / July 9 to Aug 30
Amid today’s fast-paced way of life, the simple act of looking up at the same sun, taking a deep breath or allowing oneself time to contemplate and imagine has become a rare luxury for urban dwellers. The vast skies of childhood have gradually been replaced by towering buildings, while elevated skytrain lines weave across the infinite horizon where flocks of birds once spread their wings in free flight. These transformations have all been “determined” by someone else, leaving us with little choice in shaping the environments we inhabit. "Under The Same Sun”, a solo exhibition from painter Amnaj Wachirasurt, explores this existential notion of Bangkok. It runs from July 9 to Aug 30 at River City Bangkok.

The Okura Prestige Bangkok invites guests to embrace the warmth and radiance of the summer season with its enchanting new “Hana Afternoon Tea" at Up & Above Restaurant and Bar. The presentation takes its name from "Hana", the Japanese word for flower and draws direct inspiration from the rolling lavender fields of Hokkaido in full bloom. Savoury courses are Lanna longan, Tom ka mousse and Taberu niboshi. The sweet tier is a visual masterpiece, celebrating the vibrant purples and pastel tones of the blossoming season.

This July and August, Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok presents a series of dining experiences. "The Harmony Of Land And Sea" features grilled premium meats and fresh seafood, complemented by delightful treats and seasonal sides including rich sauces. The "Rot Mue Mae: Mother’s Touch and Thai Herb Afternoon Tea" at Erawan Tea Room offers a taste of mum’s dishes, from August to September. The "Thai Herb Afternoon Tea" set celebrates local botanical flavours of ginger, galangal, lemongrass and kaffir lime leaves in dishes such as tender pork salad, grilled fish patties and chicken floss crispy rolls, among others. Available from August to November. From July to September, four seasoned chefs present their signature noodle creations at You&Mee — Wagyu-tossed vermicelli from chef Gyb; Sapam southern seafood curry noodles from chef Faii; Crispy duck larb Mama from chef Atom; and Noodle rad na from chef Now. Bastille Day Guinguette at Gaston on July 14 offers an all-you-can-eat buffet featuring scallops, Fines de Claire oysters, cheese and cold cuts, beef tartare, Bourguignon and Bavette steak. The Provence Seafood Buffet takes place at Gaston on Aug 28.
