World Chocolate Day / Gismow x Cocoa XO / Until July 31

In celebration of World Chocolate Day, Centara Grand at CentralWorld invites guests to discover the “Gismow’s Chocolate Fantasy Forest”, a limited-time collaboration between Cocoa XO and Gismow. Running until July 31, the activation transforms Cocoa XO on the 57th floor into a whimsical world where premium chocolate, art and collectible design come together. Created by designer Yinan, Gismow is a popular plush character inspired by the Siamese cat. A favourite among collectors across Asia, Gismow now takes centrestage at Cocoa XO through an exclusive chocolate-themed collaboration overlooking the Bangkok skyline. At the heart of the activation is Thailand’s first and only Chocolate Cave, where guests can discover more than 50 varieties of premium handcrafted chocolates, created in collaboration with Callebaut, the renowned Belgian chocolate maker. To mark the collaboration, Cocoa XO introduces two packages: Fantasy Forest Cocktail Set and Fantasy Forest Chocolate Collection. Collectors can also take part in the Collector Challenge by collecting all four Gismow Fantasy Forest characters, capturing a photo inside the Chocolate Cave and sharing their experience on social media.

Wine journey / Omemo / July 24

Omemo in Phuket will host an "Iberian Wine Dinner" on July 24, featuring the Pago de los Capellanes winery in Ribera del Duero, a Spanish wine region along the Duero River in Castilla y León. The evening's menu introduces a selection of exclusive new dishes, meticulously crafted to complement the wines. Expect crisp Godello 2024, followed by a vibrant Joven 2023. The experience will be elevated by a robust Crianza 2022 Magnum and will culminate with the iconic El Nogal 2021 Magnum. To conclude the evening, dessert has been designed to harmonise with the main course wine, allowing guests to savour the final notes of the culinary journey.

Tapas culture / Uno Mas / July 23

Three chefs, one evening and the vibrant flavours of Spain come together at Uno Mas at Centara Grand at CentralWorld for "Tapas & Paella". On July 23, chef de cuisine Borja Terry Borrego of Uno Mas will be joined by chef de cuisine Luca Russo of Red Sky and guest chef Nicolas Aparicio “Manxeff” of Lievre Gastronómico in Madrid. They will present signature creations alongside an unlimited selection of tapas and freshly prepared paellas, with guest chef also unveiling a selection of exclusive dishes created especially for the occasion.

Caviar dinner / Inddee x Caviar Colony / July 18

Join World Caviar Day at Inddee for a nine-course all-caviar evening. Five chefs from four of Bangkok's kitchens will contribute to nine courses to showcase one of the five caviar varieties. Alongside Inddee's Sachin Poojary, chef Haikal Johari of Avant, chef Eisuke Kusunoki of The S Bangkok; and chefs Bic Areerom and Soohyun Lee of Liana will showcase Caviar Colony's caviars: Kaluga, Kaluga Hybrid, Russian Oscietra, Russian Hybrid and Amur.

New concert / lullaboy / July 28

lullaboy will be playing at Artspace Bantadthong at 8pm on July 28, as part of his "Hotels & Heartbreaks" tour. Indonesian-American artist lullaboy is no stranger to Thailand, having performed here last year on his first Asia tour and also at Summersonic Bangkok. Each show in the nine cities will be 90 minutes long, featuring reimagined arrangements of the hit songs that earned lullaboy his title as the award-winning healer of the broken-hearted.

Rosewood Bangkok has launched the "Nest: Sanctuary Of The Soul" art exhibition in collaboration with La Lanta Fine Art. On view at The Gallery till Sept 30, the exhibition showcases a collection of artworks by acclaimed Thai artist Sakul Intakul, inviting visitors on a contemplative journey through sculpture, painting, and immersive installations inspired by the restorative power of nature. Internationally recognised for redefining floral artistry, Sakul Intakul presents a body of work that marks a significant evolution in his artistic practice. Run for good / IHG Hotels & Resorts / Sept 20

The “IHG Run For Good” charity event will be held at Vachirabenjatas Park (Suan Rot Fai) on Sept 20. Participants can choose from three race categories, with something for everyone: a 2km walk and run, a 4km fun run and a 9km run. This year, IHG Run for Good turns its support toward the Foundation For The Blind In Thailand under the Royal Patronage of HM The Queen. Registration is open and the fee includes an IHG Run For Good shirt, a bag, a medal and a running bib.

Anniversary run / Thailand Post EMS Run 2026 / Oct 18

To commemorate four decades of its EMS service, Thailand Post will host its first run event titled "Thailand Post EMS Run 2026" on Oct 18 at the General Post Office in Bang Rak. The run will have three categories: 2.5km, 5km and 10km. Participate as a solo runner or as a team to conquer 40km. The proceeds after expenses will go to Somdej Phra Sangkharach (Ambara Mahathera) Hospital in Ratchaburi. Visit race.thai.run. to sign up by Sept 22.

Palette at 137 Pillars House Chiang Mai presents “Roots Of The Monsoon” Afternoon Tea, a seasonal-inspired afternoon tea experience. The afternoon tea showcases Premium beef with caviar and galangal sambal, Black truffle chicken choux, Tom yum black fungus and trout fish cucumber roulade with salmon roe. The sweet selection features L’ombre vert macaron, Pistachio éclair, Canelé au matcha classique and Feuilleté au frangipane, accompanied by Dried fig and pandan scones served with clotted cream, kiwi honey jam and lychee rose jam. For every afternoon tea sold, B50 from the one-person set and B100 from the two-person set will be donated to Root Of 137 Pillars, a reforestation and sustainability initiative on a dedicated 500-rai site in Ratchaburi province.

25 Degrees Bangkok presents the A5 Japanese Wagyu Burger, a limited-time creation. Layered with crispy oba leaf tempura, creamy avocado, savoury shoyu tamago, fresh cabbage, daikon and shibuzuke, the burger is finished with a house-made black garlic yuzu mayo, bringing together umami, citrus and subtle sweetness in every bite. It is served on a toasted sesame brioche bun until Aug 31.

French pâtisserie / Bangkok Baking Company / Until July 31

The Bangkok Baking Company (BBCO) at JW Marriott Hotel Bangkok presents the timeless artistry of French pâtisserie until July 31. Executive pastry chef O Phensiri Chotkaeo has created Caramel hazelnut croquembouche, where crisp miniature choux are filled with smooth caramel pastry cream before being paired with hazelnut croustillant, hazelnut praline mousse, hazelnut dacquoise and Dulcey whipped ganache. Chocolate lovers will appreciate the Chocolate marquise cake, where layers of French chocolate cake, velvety chocolate marquise and glossy chocolate ganache are finished with an assortment of premium French chocolates. The Malted milk opera cake offers a contemporary twist on the beloved French classic. Fruit takes centrestage in the Raspberry pear frangipane tart. Completing the selection is the Strawberry peach Charlotte.

The Ritz-Carlton, Bangkok is offering a new afternoon tea collaboration with Honeybee Seoul, the renowned French-inspired dessert café led by chef Eunjung Cho. Celebrated for its delicate, modern pastries, Honeybee Seoul brings its distinctive aesthetic and craftsmanship to Caleō for a limited engagement until August 7. Offering a seasonal expression of contemporary pâtisserie in an elegant setting, the "Honeybee Seoul Afternoon Tea" experience showcases a selection of desserts crafted with Valrhona chocolate that combine artistry with playful expression, such as the whimsical Signature chocolate bear which combines rich layers of chocolate, while the Apple yuja fruit basket brings together bright yuja citrus and apple with delicate notes of dulce de leche. The Rice doenjang pavlova pairs jasmine rice with subtly savoury doenjang caramel inspired by traditional Korean fermented soybean paste. These are complemented by an assortment of finger sandwiches, savoury bites, and freshly baked scones served with traditional accompaniments.

Royal Orchid Sheraton Riverside Hotel Bangkok has collaborated with Stillwave, the immersive sound healing experience, to host "Wellness Wednesdays", a curated series of experiences. The "Sunset Sound Bath", an immersive meditation experience led by Taechit Choeuyphuang, founder of Stillwave. Taking place during the golden hour, the experience embraces the calming transition from day to evening.

New hotels / Dusit International

Dusit International is expanding the domestic footprint of the Asai Hotels, with the signing of hotel management agreements for two new properties in Southern Thailand: Asai Hat Yai and Asai Patong Phuket. Scheduled to open in 2028 and 2029 respectively, the new-build properties are designed to integrate with their surrounding neighbourhoods, working with local businesses, creators and communities. Located on Samchai Road in Hat Yai, Asai Hat Yai will introduce the brand to one of southern Thailand's most important commercial and tourism hubs. The hotel will comprise 116 guestrooms created for different styles of travel. Facilities will include an all-day dining restaurant, café and bar, flexible co-working spaces, meeting facilities and a fitness centre. Asai Patong Phuket will feature approximately 85 rooms alongside a lively ground-floor café and social space built around Asai's signature Eat/Work/Play concept, a rooftop swimming pool and fitness facilities.
