The Melayu Collection / PDM Brand

PDM brand and designer Emsophian “Em" Benchametha have joined hands for an exclusive rug design that captures the southern way of life in Thailand. Making its debut at the “Pattani Decoded” exhibition at Bangkok Design Week 2023, the "Malayu" pattern incorporates Moroccan aesthetics with geometric design elements and lines that illustrate the ocean, moat, mangroves and salt pans. The designer's interpretation of the pattern is inspired by the interdependence between humans and nature, which he defines as a mutual respect that shapes the way of life in the region. The rug is available in a small size (75x130cm) and comes in three colours: royal green/rose gold, navy/white and black/white. Visit fb.com/PDMBrand.
