Guns N' Roses to play Glasgow Green this summer

Guns N' Roses are set to play Glasgow Green this summer – and tickets go on sale this week.

Fresh from their Not in this Lifetime European tour, Axel Rose, Slash, Duff and co will take to the stage on Thursday June 25 in their biggest Scottish show to date.

The rock icons last played Glasgow's SECC in May 2012 – performing classics such as Sweet Child O' Mine, November Rain and Welcome to the Jungle.

GNR have performed 160 shows for over 5.5 million fans in stadiums, arenas, and as part of festivals worldwide.

The gig takes place the night after Green Day, Fall Out Boy and Weezer's Hella Mega Tour show – which has been moved from Bellahouston to Glasgow Green due to flooding issues at the park.

Tickets go on sale this Friday, 31 January at 9am at ticketmaster.co.uk and www.gigsinscotland.com.
