Guns N' Roses 'could play Glasgow or Edinburgh' next year for the 'Scottish leg' of iconic band's 2020 world tour

Legendary rockers Gun N'Roses could be touring Scotland next year as part of their 2020 World tour.

The iconic band's Not in This Lifetime World tour is returning to Europe and there are rumours a Scottish date will be announced early next year.

BT Murrayfield in Edinburgh and Glasgow 's Hampden Park have both been mooted online as possible venues but the location has yet to be announced.

Rockstars Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan reunited in 2016 and have gone to play 160 shows to date, selling more than five million tickets on the Not in This Lifetime Tour.

The global leg of the tour kicks off in Miami in January but Europe will have to wait until May to see one of the highest-grossing tours of all time.

Lisbon will be the first European city visited by the tour, with other cities on the schedule including Prague, Vienna, Hamburg and London.

Whether the tour will visit Scotland is yet to be confirmed.

On June 27 the rock stars will visit Dublin to play at the Marlay Park Concert Series.

Formed in 1985, the Guns N'Roses is world-renowned for classic rock songs such as Paradise City, Welcome to the Jungle and Sweet Child o' Mine.
