April 07--Guns N' Roses fans who can't wait to buy tickets to the Chicago show in Friday's public sale can hit up the secondary market, where some seats are as cheap as $70.
Tickets for the band's July 1 stop at Soldier Field are set to go on sale to the public 10 a.m. Friday via Ticketmaster. A pre-sale for the Nightrain Fan Club and Bears season ticket holders began Saturday, while Citi card members could begin purchasing tickets Monday.
Some buyers have already placed their tickets on the secondary market. A Tribune search Thursday afternoon found 400-level tickets for as cheap as $70, plus fees, on StubHub and 400-level tickets via search engine SeatGeek for $85.

Tickets in the general sale range from $44.50, plus fees, for some 400-level seats to $250 for space near the stage.
Guns N' Roses announced last week it will kick off a summer stadium tour June 23 at Ford Field in Detroit. If the Soldier Field July 1 date sells out, there's space in the schedule to add more Chicago shows. The band isn't slated to visit its next stop, Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati, until July 6.
The band played a preview show last week at the Troubadour in West Hollywood with members Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan.
