Guns and Thighs trailer: Ram Gopal Varma brings crime in its raw form

After making the third film in his Sarkar franchise, filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma has diversified his canvas. He is now making a series titled Guns and Thighs. The new web series is all about what Ram Gopal Varma does best — crimes, criminals and the socio-political nexus behind them in the purest form.

RGV took to Twitter to share the trailer of his latest venture and wrote, “Am taking off on a brand new journey towards GUNS and THIGHS http://www.GunsAndThighs.com. Trailer of my most ambitious project GUNS and THIGHS Series season 1 trailer http://www.GunsAndThighs.com.”

At almost seven minutes, the video is clearly too long for a trailer. Lines like “politician corrupt paida nahi hota, use corrupt hona padta hai.”

Justifying the name, Varma tweeted, “I named the series GUNS and THIGHS as a synonym for Power and Sex which are primary motors of nature in any politics of a criminal nature.”

Elaborating on why did he decided to venture into the digital stream, RGV wrote, “A web series allows an exponential and existential form of story telling which a time and censor restricted medium can never allow. Film characters have a primary finite life and real characters have infinite life but web series strike both a primary and infinite balance. GUNS & THIGHS is a symbolic provocateur of truth of actual matter amounting to a truthful provocateur of the actual matter of Underworld.”
