Cops raced to the scene after receiving a report of a firearm being discharged at the property on Cardonald Drive in the city at around 10.25pm on Sunday.

Officers arrived to find a window had been damaged as a result of the attack before they sealed off the area.

No one was injured as a result of the shooting.

The road was still cordoned off this morning and police say their enquiries into the incident are ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 10.25pm on Sunday, 28 February, 2021, police received a report of a firearm having been discharged at a flat on Cardonald Drive, Glasgow.

"Police attended and found that the window of the flat had been damaged as a result.
