A gun was fired at flat in Glasgow sparking a mass police response in the East end of the city.
Officers raced to a property in Dunira Street, in the Tollcross area, just before 4am on Monday.
It is understood the gunshot was aimed at a window of a property, shattering the glass.
Cops have closed off the road, as well as nearby Braidfauld Street.
Police say enquiries are ongoing as they work to find the shooter.
A spokeswoman from Police Scotland told the Record: "At around 3.50 am on Monday, 2 November 2020, police received a report of a firearm having been discharged a flat in Dunira Street, Shettleston, Glasgow.
“Police attended and found that the window of the flat had been damaged as a result.
“Enquiries are currently ongoing to establish the exact circumstances of the incident and identify the person or persons involved.”
