Gun drama as shot fired at Glasgow flat in late night attack

Police have launched an investigation after a gun was fired at a Glasgow flat.

The property in Cardonald Drive was targeted on Sunday night with officers racing to the scene in the immediate aftermath.

The area was sealed off as inquiries continued, the Daily Record reports.

Fortunately no one was injured and police say they are trying to establish circumstances of the incident.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 10.25pm on Sunday, February 28, police received a report of a firearm having been discharged at a flat on Cardonald Drive, Glasgow.

"Police attended and found that the window of the flat had been damaged as a result.

"Enquiries are currently ongoing to establish the exact circumstances of the incident and identify the person or persons involved."
