Gun and 'suspected drugs' found after 'undercover and armed police' swoop on Bury homes

A gun and 'suspected drugs' were found after police swooped on homes in Bury.

Officers executed warrants at two houses on Monday evening (April 27).

A 27-year-old manw as arrested on suspicion of supplying controlled drugs.

Officers confirmed 'a firearm and a quantity of suspected drugs' were seized.

The man remains in police custody for questioning.

Witnesses said armed and undercover police were seen on Knowles Street and Robertson Street, in Radcliffe, at around 7.45pm.

Tactical aid unit vans were also spotted.

Greater Manchester Police confirmed enquiries are ongoing.
