Drone attacks on two Saudi Aramco facilities in Abqaiq and Khurais on Saturday have drawn condemnation from several Gulf countries.

The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation denounced the “terrorist” act, saying it is new evidence of terrorist groups looking to undermine security and stability in the region.

The UAE reiterated its full solidarity with the Kingdom, voicing support for any measures by Saudi Arabia to safeguard its security.

"The security of the UAE and Saudi Arabia is inseparable. Any threat to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is seen as a threat to the stability and security of the UAE," the ministry said.

Bahrain’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs also strongly condemned the attack.

It stressed Bahrain’s “unwavering” support for Saudi Arabia “against all forms of terrorism and attempts to undermine its security and stability.”

The Ministry further said that Bahrain backs all measures taken by Riyadh to “defend its interests and reinforce regional and international peace.”

An official source at the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the country’s strong condemnation of the two attacks.

The source confirmed Kuwait’s call on the international community to increase efforts in curbing such attacks and preventing their recurrence.

The statement stressed Kuwait’s full support to Saudi Arabia in “all measures it has taken to preserve its security and territorial integrity.”
