Gujarati actor Arvind Rathod passes away due to illness

Arvind Rathod, a prominent veteran actor in Gujarati cinema, passed away yesterday due to health issues. The gem of a star took his last breath at the age of 80 at his residence in Paldi. The actor was unmarried and had moved to Ahmedabad with his nephew. Celebrities of Gujarati cinema are mourning over the demise of the vetaran actor and are sharing their heartfelt condolences on social media handles.

Rathod was also popular in Gujarati theater and has acted in Hindi films like 'Agneepath', 'The Lady Killer', 'Khuda Gawah' which starred Amitabh Bachchan and is known name with his Gujarati films that includes 'Bhadar Tara Vaheta Pani', 'Son Kansari', 'Ganga Sati', 'Maa Khodal Taro Khamkaro'. Furthermore, the actor had also worked as a photojournalist before getting into an acting career.
