Gujarat: Union home minister Amit Shah to open Bopal-Ghuma Narmada water project

GANDHINAGAR: Union home minister and Lok Sabha member from Gandhinagar, Amit Shah, is scheduled to visit Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar on July 24 for various government functions.

Sources privy to the development said, “Union home and cooperation minister Amit Shah will be present for the inauguration of the Bopal-Ghuma Narmada water supply project. Shah will also inaugurate other projects, worth Rs 250 crore.”

Union home minister will also launch the new online FIR registration service of the state home department. Sources said the scope of online FIRs will also be widened.

Sources said Shah will also launch other projects for Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar during his visit.
