GANDHINAGAR: The state government on Monday announced that online schooling for students of classe 1 to 9 has been extended till February 5.
An official release said that the decision has been taken in the interest of students keeping in mind the prevailing pandemic situation. Earlier, the government had announced that online schooling for students of classes 1 to 9 will continue until January 31.
The core committee will meet again on February 5 and review the situation before taking a decision on in-person schooling for students of classes 1 to 9.
Education minister and state government spokesperson Jitu Vaghani said the government will take an appropriate decision in the matter after reviewing the pandemic situation again on February 5.
