GANDHINAGAR: The state home department issued a notification on Friday extending the night curfew in the eight major cities and 19 other towns of the state till February 4.
Night curfew will continue in the cities of Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, Rajkot, Gandhinagar, Jamnagar, Junagadh and Bhavnagar and 19 other towns from 10pm to 6am, the notification said.
The notification said all other restrictions presently in force will continue unchanged.
On January 21, the state government decided to add more towns to the list for night curfew to be enforced.
