AHMEDABAD: On Sunday, the city experienced cloudy weather but no rain. In the periphery, however, Bavla recorded 12mm rainfall, Dhandhuka 5mm, Viramgam and Daskroi 3mm each.
According to the state government data, 129 talukas received rains on Sunday with 53 recording 10mm or more. Mangrol near Surat recorded 38mm, followed by 35mm at Songadh near Tapi and 34mm reach in Kambha near Amreli and Karjan near Vadodara.
According to India Meteorological Department (IMD), heavy rain is very likely in Bharuch, Surat, Navsari, Valsad, Porbandar, Junagadh, and Devbhoomi Dwarka on Monday, and Navsari, Valsad, Kheda, Ahmedabad, Panchmahal, Vadodara, Chhota Udepur, Narmada, Bharuc, Surat, Dang, Tapi, Amreli, Bhavnagar and Botad on Tuesday.
